OUTRIGGER Invitational Packs the House

Collegiate men’s volleyball took to center stage at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center for the 27th OUTRIGGER Invitational, March 9-11. In addition to the top-ranked Rainbow Warriors (15-0), No. 2 UCLA (17-1), No. 3 Penn State (15-1) and Purdue Fort Wayne (12-5) also competed in the round-robin tournament.

Outrigger hosted a pre-game VIP reception for clients and partners on the final night of the tournament and no surprise, it was packed with pride as the court action promised to showcase top-tier talent.

Throughout the tournament, we gave away accommodations certificates to the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort and $200 gift cards to Hula Grill for participants of the half-time promo contest, and $50 gift cards to Hula Grill for paddle cam fans showing off their best form. Our new logo was splashed on digital signage and on the Jumbotron, not to be missed by the sold-out rowdy crowd of 10,000.

By virtue of a tie-breaker, Penn State captured the tournament, title while UH was runner-up.
