DISCOVERY Loyalty Program Update
BY SUSAN NAKAMURA — It’s been a little over a month since we officially launched the new DISCOVERY Loyalty Program to millions of members across the globe and the general public.
In early December, we held celebrations across our participating Outrigger hotels and resorts* – from Waikīkī to Fiji and Mauritius. Even our Global Contact Center held a DISCOVERY Desk Decor celebration and contest. Thank you to our general managers and hotel champions for your enthusiasm and support.
Now that we have launched the new program, we have big goals to fulfill, including increasing membership enrollment, driving more revenue through offers and promotions, and boosting satisfaction, especially with our repeat and loyal members.
Starting next month, we plan to send monthly updates to all of you that will include enrollment numbers, revenue generated through DISCOVERY and other key data.
Here is a highlight of Outrigger DISCOVERY activities for January:
- Welcoming Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa to GHA with a special exclusive offer to members at the end of the month.
- Launching monthly member emails (kicking off on January 25) targeted to Outrigger DISCOVERY members, highlighting both Outrigger and cross-brand offers. A social media campaign will be aligned with the monthly emails.
- Partnering with our GHA brands (starting with Anantara – Minor Hotels and Kempinski) on promoting their Q1 offers, and in exchange, they will promote Outrigger offers to their database, expanding our reach.
- Promoting major promotions, including GHA’s Million D$ Giveaway (January) and Outrigger’s OKR Adventure Sweepstakes (March).
- Starting GHA onboarding work for Outrigger Surin Beach Resort and Outrigger Khao Lak Resort.
