Lifeguards on Duty!

BY CHUMPAREE LAOWISESKULL (Ying) — On 18 April 2019, the Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach held a lifeguard simulation for hosts and anyone interested in learning and practicing lifeguard skills. Held at the marine center and fronting beach, the training included our security and sports and recreation teams. They practiced rescue skills and decision-making ability in various scenarios. During the simulation, the lifeguards must be able to enter the water safely, swim to a victim, use equipment to rescue a victim and move a victim to safety.
